  4.   iMS Stands for Insane Mirc Scripts
  5.   Be Careful when loading these types of
  6. scripts... a lot of crazy bastards can
  7. make scripts DELETE stuff from your hard
  8. drive EASILY!! So PLEASE check your .ims
  9. scripts before loading...
  10.   I am NOT responsible for damage of any
  11. sort to anything concerning you, your
  12. computer, IRC, or your LIFE. So dont come
  13. whining to me after you cant Boot Up and
  14. you have to sell your computer to a cheap
  15. buyer whos gonna tear it apart and use it
  16. for a doorstop...

  20. Making your own...
  21. ------------------
  22.   To make your own iMS script you must 
  23. follow some guidelines, because they are
  24. not very easy to make.
  25.   Its basically a .txt file that plays
  26. when mIRC Loads. It can add aliases to 
  27. extend the script's function, or you
  28. can be creative and make it do whatever
  29. you want, timers, and all... Unfortunately
  30. you cannot add remote commands, because 
  31. there is no cmd in mIRC that allows you 
  32. to do so..
  33.   You must have 4 sections to start up 
  34. with, you can make as many as you want..
  35. Section 1 must be called [Init], thats
  36. what the script performs when installed
  37. from the Addons popups in the script.
  38. Another must be [Run], which is performed
  39. everytime the script loads (so you should
  40. add the aliases (/alias <alias>) only once 
  41. in [Init]) Another section should be 
  42. [Help], echoing all the help commands, and 
  43. lastly, [Uninstall], where the script 
  44. removes itself from the hard disk AND the 
  45. script...
  46.   This is fairly hard, so you should look
  47. at the script included (cool.ims) for
  48. reference in making your own. If you make a
  49. cool one, email it to me and ill put it up
  50. in the web page for other users to download.

  52. Distribution
  53. ------------
  54.   You can distribute it however you want,
  55. but if you want your iMS script to be recog-
  56. nized, ill put it up in the web page (your
  57. script must be good!)
